It may have happened at the very end of Greater Design Weeks time, but the cosmetics and claws at Lucian Matis set the bar for Drop 2013 elegance styles. Of course, having some skilled heavyweights on panel certainly helped: Revlon international creative home Prada Westman and Revlon claw professional Leeanne Colley were behind the vintage look.

Despite a arranging issue that avoided Westman from actually being behind the scenes, she did not want to successfully avoid the opportunity to perform with Lucian Matis. Skype classes permitted for appropriate cooperation with the developer and once the look was completed, her right-hand gal, Mimi Imanishi, led the group in Greater.

“The motivation for this look was Lucian’s stunning, black and white color scheme while integrating opera khaki colors to the eye. This look is also very much motivated by the ’60s, particularly, the In german style, Veruschka,” Westman said, via news launch.

Thick, dark bananas lining was what really introduced the ’60s impact to life—that’s the market phrase for eye liner used to the wrinkle. Mimi padded Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Extreme Liner and Brightener in “Carbon Cleopatra” and ColorStay Crème Gel Liner in “Black,” mixing and modifying as she went. The relax of the colours—shimmering, multi-dimensional colors of natural and khaki-gold—came complimentary of the Revlon PhotoReady For beginners and Darkness in “Pop Art.”

Even better, the bananas lining look was artfully resembled in the claws, with Leeanne Colley developing a curved, summarize France mani style. The stripe-heavy style was done with a customized blend: “We designed a wintery white-colored using Revlon’s “Spirit, which is a white-colored Top Rate [Nail Enamel], with one cover and then padded [Revlon Colorstay Longwear Fingernail Enameled in] “Porcelain” over top of it. It actually looks a bit like France vanilla flavor ice lotion,” Colley described. The dark summarize was done using Revlon Fingernail Enameled in “Iconic,” which is an in-depth charcoal-grey color with a natural undertone—making it a ideal coordinate for the cosmetics.

An extra claw art look, presenting an in-depth V of leather-looking enhance, was designed after Colley previewed the Drop 2013 Lucian Matis selection and made the decision more structure was needed: “The second look is a little bit more dramatic—a little bit fiercer—we used the identical [polish] colors but we designed structure. We really desired to make a set look because there happens to be lot of set throughout the selection so we did that by using a washing strategy.”
